Workshop - Smart Sea Technology and Ecosystem (SSTE)
The aim of this workshop is to integrate the scientific community dedicated to the development of smart sea technologies and related topics and to become a forum for exchange of thoughts, ideas and experiences related to the topic such as IT systems and technologies, cybersecurity systems, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for transport, offshore and port and logistics infrastructure. The papers presenting research results at different stages of the project development are all welcomed, these include concept papers, presentation of on-going research, as well as works presenting the results of industrial implementation of solutions.
Topics:
- unmanned vehicles (including USV, UAV, UGV, UUV), along with devices, components, systems and software, including algorithms providing intelligence, enabling their effective use in dedicated environments;
- Smart Navigation Systems: advanced GPS and AI-based systems that provide real-time navigation data, collision avoidance, and route optimization for ships;
- Maritime 4.0: Industry 4.0 research in the maritime industry;
- maritime cybersecurity systems;
- Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for shipbuilding, maritime transport, port and logistics infrastructure and monitoring of the marine environment;
- Smart Offshore Wind Farms: wind turbines equipped with sensors and IoT technology to optimize energy production and maintenance;
- IT and ICT systems and technologies for monitoring, simulating, optimizing, integrating, controlling and managing means of transport (land, water and air), as well as transport infrastructure;
- technologies and systems supporting the development of control, management and security centers for offshore and port and logistics infrastructure;
- technologies, devices and processes to improve the safety and efficiency of transport and logistics services in ports.
